Episode 1 - This is the debut episode of the legendary Mr. Peepers Show, which at the time was a local Los Angeles show sponsored by the area Ford dealers. The elements of the show are so incredibly ordinary that its fascinating to watch what passed for television in its infancy. These are not much more than rudimentary skits performed in front of a studio audience with no depth or polish whatsoever. Still, its wonderful to see the birth of a television star in Wally Cox and how television comedy began.

Episode 2
Episode 2 - Mr. Peepers was a Wally Cox vehicle that had him portraying a meek and sheepish science teacher and the trials and tribulations of trying to fit in. Barren sets, stilted conversations, and forced laughter aside, its history in the making. It also establishes the Wally Cox persona that served him well until his untimely death cut short a very good television career.

Episode 3
Episode 3 - Mr. Peepers has trouble speaking up and asking for his paycheck. Then, its over. You will see that these shows are small skits that seem to be sewn together in an effort to make than a half hour episode. The reason for that is they were actually made to be small vignettes that could be shown from time to time. The fact is that in the early days of television there was no regular clock. Some shows were five minutes, some ten, some fifteen.

Episode 4 - Practical Jokers - Mr. Peepers deals with a practical joker who gets sent to the principal. Notice that these shows really aren`t shows at all but rather segments of various lengths that got strung together to fill a half hour. Years later they did it on purpose in a show called Love American Style.

Episode 5 - Mr. Peepers Tries to Man Up - A tough English teacher is introduced to Mr. Peepers - a former Army Captain in the WACS. Peepers tries to toughen up, but with predictable results.
