With Rosemary Clooney

Rosemary Clooney - Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis parlayed their nightclub success at the Skinny Damato run 500 Club in Atlantic City into a film and TV career. Normally the two did not mix, but the Martin and Lewis handlers were shrewd in blending the promotional value of TV with the cash box from their movies. By the way, the TV money wasn`t so bad and Dean Martin, who later starred in the Dean Martin Show, also on NBC, became a very large shareholder in the NBC parent RCA.

With Burt Lancaster

Burt Lancaster - Perhaps the number one movie actor of the time, this show comes after the Colgate series was history but the boys were still making their formula work. Not only does Burt get to act the fool, but The Skylarks get to promote their newest recording, by then probably on that new fangled 33 and a third rpm LP. Probably not stereo, yet, though.
